Women’s Aid braved the adverse weather conditions on Thursday 17th January to take a trip up the Hill and meet with Junior Minister Jennifer McCann.
Annie Campbell, Director of Women’s Aid Federation NI, accompanied senior managers Patricia Lyness (Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid) and Orla Conway (Omagh Women’s Aid), to discuss domestic abuse, children and young people, and welfare reform.
The delegation also discussed the One Billion Rising campaign, where campaigners all over the globe will take to the streets on 14th February to call for an end to violence against women.
