The Belfast Domestic & Sexual Violence Partnership have developed a handy guide for victims and survivors who want to register to vote anonymously. The electoral register normally keeps details of voters’ addresses, and this can be a barrier to victims who need to keep their location secret for their safety. The new law will allow victims to apply to register to vote without their contact details being made public.
