Women’s Aid is the lead agency offering information, accommodation and support to women and children experiencing domestic and sexual violence in Northern Ireland.
Due to additional funding, Mid-Ulster Women’s Aid invites applications for:
TWO PART-TIME FIXED TERM FAMILY SUPPORT OFFICER POSTS (Ref FamSO/8/18) These posts are supported by BBC Children in Need
Main essential criteria for applicants is:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/HND or equivalent childcare qualification
- Practical experience of providing interventions and services to children, young persons and families
- Knowledge and understanding of children and young persons development and the cause and effects of domestic violence on women, children and young persons
Hours: 16 per week to be worked in the afternoons (plus participation in Emergency out of hours on-call rota)
Annual Salary: £9000
Duration of Posts: 3 years
